Every woman should have at least one in her closet, and the paper thin leather that’s out there now is light enough to even be worn in the summertime. Leather can be tough, sporty, and sexy, and it feels great to throw on as you head out the door. Instant cool, I say…
Here are some of my favorite leather jackets out there right now, I would love to own the Phillip Lim ruffle-trim one. If you can’t justify the price tag of a leather jacket, then go to the Gap, as they have a really cute motorcycle jacket made out of denim that’s only $69.50. Buy it here.

They also have a cute leather field jacket for only $298, buy it here. It also comes in a nice nude color. Note that I would buy it in a larger size so it has that cool ‘I stole it from my boyfriend’ look.

And here they are, my favs. If you are a veggie, and are horrified by this post, the Alice + Olivia jacket is wool with faux suede and faux leather trim.
I love this leather peacoat, and would step out in this outfit in a second!
And continuing on with makeup suggestions for my outfits is Carmindy, makeup artist on TLC’s “What not to Wear” . For this leather ensemble she suggests a creamy red lip like this one from Sally Hansen Natural Beauty inspired by Carmindy in “Soft Red”. You can buy it here.
