There are just so many great ones right now that I had to feature a few more. I mean it’s still winter, and it’s still cold out, so sweaters are on my brain. Did you know that the first pullover sweaters were made for fisherman? Wool was the only natural material that kept the wearer warm even when wet. Also, it has been said that women developed their own cable patterns, so if their men were washed up from sea, that they could be easily identified. (The same goes with tattoos, which begs the question why wouldn’t they just have their NAME tattooed on their arm.)
Anyways, here are some stylish sweaters with some interesting details, that I would love to have in my closet. I know they are all grey and black, but hey I really don’t feel like wearing a yellow sweater these days, do you? My favorite one is the Opening Ceremony black and ivory checked cardigan.

I thought it might be nice to share a few of my favorite fashion items. Time tested things that I wear over and over again. I have plenty of pieces that I ball up and relegate to the back of the closet, but these aren’t one of them.
1) James Jeans. I swear they give your butt a lift, no joke.
2) Chloe jacket. I bought mine at a sample sale years ago and I faithfully wear it all year round. They do cost a chunk of change however, so I also show a lesser priced See by Chloe jacket as well:
3) Jennifer Behr headbands. I wear one almost every day and they are a great way to accessorize without wearing jewelry. I am working on a profile post about Jen Behr so stay tuned.
4) Giles & Brother jewelry. Always looks way more expensive than it is, and you’ll wear it all the time:
5) Spanx tight-end tights. They suck you in and leave you smooth, ’nuff said:
6) Miu Miu pants. Literally my favorite pants:
7) Inhabit sweaters. They are so cuddly, and often have interesting design details:
8. Ippolita jewelry. I have a gold chain necklace by her that I adore and wear all the time:
9) On Gossamer underwear. Nothing comes between me and my Calvins but these undies. They really have the most comfortable g-strings on the planet:
